UL (Underwriters Laboratory) defines Level 8 bullet protection as stopping up to 5 shots from a 7.62 rifle with a 150 grain full metal jacket bullet at a max velocity of 3025 fps. Frontline Ballistic Barrier’s Level 8+Plus panels EXCEED the standard! The test panel above had over 60 rounds from multiple calibers without a single penetration. The Level 8+Plus offers an lighter weight, cost-effective alternative to our mission-critical Tier 1-6 Ballistic Barriers.
The superior louvered design stops and directs impact particles safely down and away from your protected equipment. This design is also engineered to maximize the airflow. This not only reduces wind stess on the structure, but is critical in allowing the heat generated by the power substation to efficiently dissipate. See the independant airflow test results.
